*Exhale* It feels SO good to be back in this space with you, mama. If you’re new here, welcome! We’re really happy you’re here. If you’ve stuck around for a bit, welcome back!! It’s been a while, and we’re looking forward to sharing what we’ve been up to and what’s coming next.

First, it might be time to reintroduce ourselves and Wild Mama Village. We’re Emily L and Emily K – close friends and mamas who found a severe lack of support in the postpartum experience when we were navigating our “new normal” after bringing our babies into this world. Together, powered by Em L’s background in women’s nutrition and holistic wellbeing and Em K’s experience in functional medicine health coaching and mama-centered fitness, we made it our mission to educate and empower other new (and veteran) mothers in a nurturing space.

Here, Wild Mama Village was born. 

We get it – it’s tough to stay consistent with daily nourishment, whether that means making meals on a regular basis that feel good while taking care of your new baby, squeezing in focused workouts so you can maintain energy to keep up with your toddler, or coming back to a regulated nervous system at the end of a very full day. So, we’re supporting you in postpartum + motherhood through community, whole mama wellness + reinvigorating the wild woman within. 

How are we doing this? 

Our education is focused on you, mama – not parenting, not your baby (though we do love to get to know your sweet babes, too!) – and it’s rooted in five pillars of wellbeing: nutrition, healthy movement, sleep hygiene, stress + anxiety, and relationships. All while recognizing you need realistic, tangible guidance because your time is precious. 

We want to help you build your toolkit on how to best support your Self first. This will look like easy to digest, snack-size audio + video programs, including topics such as meditations, meal prepping, nervous system regulation, communication support with yourself + your partner, mama-centric exercise and more. You can find that here on our monthly newsletter, on social media and our membership platform, which will be launching later this year!

We want you to feel empowered in your mama-morphosis. From pre-baby days of endless capacity (or so it felt like, right?) and freedom, through the navigation of postpartum (a years-long adventure) with carrying the world in your arms while still trying to figure out how to feel like the best, most elevated version of you in this new season of life. 

WMV has gone through its own mama-morphosis, too. What began in 2020 as small group coaching of intimate gatherings of beautiful new moms in their first year postpartum is evolving into something bigger, better and even more connected.

We took time off in 2021 for some big life moves – deeply focusing on family time as our own little ones have grown and a literal move for one of us – and we’re finally feeling ready to come out of our cocoon to share what’s coming up.

We’ll continue to serve you through this monthly newsletter, so follow along and be sure to forward it to other mama friends you love! You’ll see us peeping in here and there on Instagram and TikTok, as well, as we plan the launch of future offerings, including a podcast, in-person events and members-only exclusives.
